Beginners Cycling Confidence
10:00 am – 12:00 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019
Want to get on your bike but lack the confidence or ability?
Join our free Beginners cycling class hosted by the cycling team from the Bike Station.
The Bike Station can provide bikes/helmets and will run through exercises and fun games to learn cycling skills in a relaxed environment. Children are welcome under adult supervision.
The Beginners class will happen in a safe environment within the croft & Leith Links area and consists of going over the basics:
-Mounting and dismounting
-Breaking and Stopping
Lessons will be further tailored to the group and are designed to improve your confidence and riding skills. The Bike Station will contact you before the session to get an understanding of your current ability/expectations.
There is a suggested donation of £5 for this workshop payable on the day.
Please bring your own bike and cycle helmet (if you have them) and suitable clothes for the weather conditions.
If you would like to borrow a bike and helmet please let us know by emailing us on email@example.com. If you don’t let us know if advance we won’t be able to guarantee you a bike to borrow on the day.
