Intro to Whittling – 5th September
5th September, 2 – 5 pm
In this whittling workshop we will start with some simple projects such as gypsy flowers, butter knives, spurtles and spoons to learn safe and efficient cutting techniques with Mora wood carving knives. The focus on any whittling course for beginners is really to learn these safe methods and understand the way the wood cuts best. When you have have done this, you can move on to carve other items.
