Introduction to growing your own – Sat 22 June
11:00am–2:30pm, Saturday, June 22, 2019
This workshop will take place on the croft and led by our gardener Tom. The day will include demonstrations and hands-on tasks to introduce you to the basics of growing your own. Tasks will take place in our market garden and the greenhouses. There will also be a tour of the community crofting plots to point out some of the many successful crops to grow in Scotland and examples of different practices you might wish to use.
The workshop cost includes a basic gardening kit to take home.

- Practical session, undertaking seasonal tasks in the demonstration area and greenhouse

Please bring sensible clothing and footwear for the outdoors, as well as waterproofs or sunblock depending on the weather.
