      Description

Learn how the traditional Japanese method of Furoshiki can be used for wrapping Christmas gifts. Believe it or not, 227,000 miles of wrapping paper is thrown away each year – enough to reach the moon! Make a difference this year and give the Japanese tradition of Furoshiki a go!

Upon signing up to this course, you will learn how to make your very own Furoshiki wrap as well as some traditional Furoshiki folding techniques. As part of this workshop you will also receive a pack of materials which we will use during this workshop, to make our wraps.

No experience of sewing required, all welcome. Beginner friendly

Whilst this workshop will cover how to make a furoshiki wrap with a sewing machine, a sewing machine is NOT required. Likewise, fabric will be provided, however participants are encouraged to have a play with some of their own fabrics if they so wish.
