Sewing Skills: Make Your Own Tote Bag 02/09/18
Do you know that the vast majority of plastic bags are only used once and take up to 100 years to decompose? In fact, worldwide we use 5 trillion plastic bags every year, that’s 160,000 a second! Join us for a fun and creative workshop to make your own upcycled tote bag. You’ll have the chance to use a sewing machine and to learn basic hand sewing.
Bring an old duvet cover or an unused tablecloth and prepare to be creative! All equipment will be provided (including a choice of fabric if needed), no previous sewing experience needed.
