Botanical Plaster Casting
THIS WORKSHOP HAS NOW SOLD OUT!
1:30pm – 4:00pm, Sunday, February 3, 2019
In this workshop, you will learn how to form a mould from clay to create your own unique plaster cast. Using botanicals collecting from gardens, parks, and the croft – flowers, twigs, leaves, seed heads – you will experiment with shape and texture, working towards a design for your finished piece.
On completion, you will have your own personal, hand-crafted plaster cast created using beautiful botanical materials. Once dry this can then be painted or left natural and makes a stunning wall hanging.

This workshop is suitable for all as no special knowledge or skills are required to take part. All equipment, tools and materials are provided. Please wear sensible shoes and clothes as this workshop will take place outside amongst the lovely surroundings of the croft.
Participants will get to take home their own handmade plaster casting.
