Food Growing Workshop 6: Spotlight on Winter Salads and Composting (29th August 2020)
Saturday 29th August 2020
Find out how you can harvest fresh vegetables through the winter! This workshop will introduce you to crops that will grow well over winter and provide you with tasty, unusual salads. We’ll also cover some basics of caring for and harvesting salad crops. As usual it will be a hands-on session with planting and harvesting as part of the workshop.
August’s food growing workshop is a double bill – join us to learn about compost too! We will be demystifying some composting basics, as well as looking at different home composting options.
