Food Growing Workshop 7: Seed Saving, Storage and Preserving (26th September 2020) Copy
Saturday 26th September 2020
Our crops’ lifecycles begin – and end – with seeds. This workshop will provide an introduction to saving seed from popular vegetables. There will be a chance to have a go yourselves, and take some seeds home ready to plant next year.
As winter approaches, pickings in the garden start to look a bit thin, but you can still eat well by storing crops or preserving them. In this hands-on session, we’ll have a go at preserving home-grown veg and learning to store crops so that they can keep for months!
