Love your Roots – Getting Creative with Seasonal Veg 18/11/18
The aim of this workshop is to inspire participants with new recipe ideas and basic techniques to make the most of the seasonal bounty of root vegetables at this time of year – from the traditional turnip to the bloody beetroot – we will discuss and taste a variety of dishes that make the most of these low cost, delicious, and nutritious seasonal delights!
This will largely be a demo and discussion session with some tasters and recipe cards included: participants are encouraged prior to the workshop to think about their current use of root vegetables at home. Whether your bored of the same old recipes, want some help to eat local & seasonal on a budget, or just simply want to gain some new ideas – this workshop is the one for you!
For this workshop we’re also keen for participants to bring along and share their favourite recipes, cookbooks, top culinary tips or ideas they have for eating root vegetables – we all have a unique recipe or tip to share we just don’t know it yet!
