Make your own Eco Cleaning Products
Tuesday, February 26, 2019 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Walk down the Household Cleaning aisle in any supermarket and you’re surrounded by products which are potentially damaging for you, your family and the planet, from the toxic chemicals to plastic packaging, and unsustainably sourced ingredients. So, how to clean and still be green?
This workshop is for anyone who wants to move away from traditional commercial cleaning products and reduce the muddle of bottles, sprays, detergent tubs and general gloop in the cupboard under the sink. Using safe and natural ingredients we’ll look at how to make effective alternatives for household cleaning jobs.
In this second workshop, we’ll look at the basics for all-purpose cleaning, then focus on some refining steps, including clothes care beyond the wash, home scents and polishes.
This is a hands-on session, and we’ll be creating our own products. The products we make will be inexpensive and kinder on sensitive skin, as well as kinder to the planet: it’s Earth Care meets home care.
