Zero Waste Christmas Decorations 01/12/18
Participants will learn how to make a variety of homemade Christmas decorations using recycled materials and botanicals from the croft to decorate their home or office!
This is a hands-on session: participants will be making their own Christmas decorations – and there will be a few different options for making one detailed or several basic decorations depending upon time.
Participants are encouraged to bring some or a selection of the following – leftover magazines, newspapers, Christmas cards, egg boxes, toilet rolls, CD’s, bottle tops or wine corks, coloured tape or fabric/ribbon, or even old broken decorations. You’re also encouraged to bring some foraged pine cones, mistletoe or other botanicals. We will supply basic fixing and cutting materials, colouring pencils, paint and other additional things to transform your wasted materials into something you will be proud to bring out, again and again, each year!
This is a family-friendly workshop, though the recommended age for participation in this workshop is for Children is 8+ (Children must be accompanied by one adult and the cost is £5 per child).
To request an additional space for your child(ren) please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know the number of children attending. Payment for children is made on the day of the workshop.
